If you had to describe An in one word, it would be 'cold'. She shows little to no emotion at all times and it's very hard to really get to know the real Antoinette. She has learned that no good things come from being so open about everything. She's been broken more than any woman her age should be and she has put up quite the wall. She's very outgoing and numb to pretty much everything. She doesn't feel anymore, instead she just does. Whether that be from her nasty little drug addiction to her friendliness with men. From other people's perspectives, she looks like your typical party girl however there is so much to her that meets the eye. She's very observant and takes everything in as it's being presented to her and she's a huge control freak, needing everything in it's place at all times.

Antoinette is the name borne to the great Marie Antoinette who was responsible for many things in her day and An's parents only hoped that she would be just as great as Marie Antoinette. Antoinette was born halfway through the year 1993 in Charlottenlund, Denmark to her two very wealthy parents who had been trying to have children for years. They often times called her their miracle and would give her the world if they could. With her parents having such high expectations of her, Antoinette never felt as if she were good enough and often got into disputes with her mother. When An was eighteen, she decided to head oversees to New York to attend New York University and study Pharmaceutical Sciences however, things did not go as planned. In her first semester she met Colin and everything changed. She focused on him more than her school work and he distracted her from her goal. Not only this, but when An was nineteen, her mother had passed away and she was ridden with guilt for never resolving their problems. She began to act out and she became pregnant at the end of her sophomore year at NYU. Colin felt responsible and quickly proposed and An almost as quickly accepted. Things had started to look up for them until the unthinkable happened. An miscarried shortly after her second month started and Colin broke her heart, leaving her all alone once again. She had resorted back to her old ways and began acting out and partying, not caring about much of anything. She began modeling shortly before she turned twenty and she decided to take a break from school completely but she has just recently decided to go back.

Personality:If someone knows how it is to always be judged,this is Circe.Because of some small quirks of her character which in others' eyes seem incomprehensible,people started looking at her at the beginning with the curiosity aroused by the mystery that surrounds her person and life,then with reproach and a growing fear and now with hatred and scorn.
What made her pass in people's eyes as an abomination of the nature are just her inclinations for occult sciences,for history and philosophy,her nocturne outings,she has nyctophilia (attraction to darkness or night; finding relaxation or comfort in the darkness. Preferring night time activities to day time activities) which,accumulated,made her become the witch of this town where people need to be the same,always have a cheerful aura and a good mood and not have more daring thoughts than the religious and archaic ones.
It seems that if you like night,if you read E.A. Poe,listen to rock music and her favorite color is black,even if we're in the 21st century,the people will still consider you a witch. Circe arrived at this bitter conclusion too,thinking with a lot of sarcasm and detachment when she realized the people's opinion regarding her,but a bunch of hypocrites who think that she scares their children isn't going to make her change for the sake of fitting in some social norms she doesn't give a shit for.
So instead of listening to her parents' insistance,exasperated by the threats they constantly received and although pressed by the town's folks,she remained true to her beliefs and to herself,preferring to isolate herself,to avoid talking to anyone and spend her time doing what she loves,reading,learning,assimilating,working at her book,studying for the admission at college and defying all those who are against her.
Bio:Being raised in a town where everyone knows everyone makes you think twice whether it's a good idea or not to run from the chemistry class,especially if you're a senior,especially if there are only a few weeks left until the final exams and especially and maybe the most convincing argument,if your teacher is also your neighbor and the friend of your parents but it seemed like all this wasn't enough to hold Moni Benton at school that extremely hot may afternoon,without bearing anymore her noisy colleagues' presence,of her bored professors or being trapped in that choking dusty classroom when the world waited her outside with all her wonders,so she jumped the surrounding fence of the high school,without caring anymore that the juniors were trying to look under her skirt while she was jumping.With her bag full of books hung on her shoulder,Moni ran to the park,plopping on a bench,in full sun,hidden by the passers' eyes by some thick bushes.What she didn't know was that in the next moments she was going to find the love of her life and there he was,running out of the bushes and the girl,as a revenge for the fright she received,made Andrew Williams,the nerd,trip on her foot,who fell at her feet,making Moni laugh and especially mock him.After blushing,tripping again,blushing more and wanting to leave,Andrew decided to stay and confront the girl,who preferred to introduce herself and they started talking for three hours about lots of things.
The exams passed,high school passed,so did the college and ten years later,Moni and Andrew had a baby girl,born 23rd May,who they named Circe (Andrew always had a passion for ancient history,especially Greek and for mythology).
Circe was the wonder of her parents,who adored her from the first moment and always supported her.That's why they were destroyed when they had to tell her to either change or leave,forced by the other residents of the town so she eventually chose to spare her parents of this constant hell when she was accepted at Waldorf with a merit scholarship.
She is in the first year of college,studying philosophy and literature,as well as foreign languages (French,Japanese and German) and psychology,being supported by her parents financially.
